Joana Yonel feedback

Different groups were required to discuss topics about the fundamentals of speech. In general, every group did a splendid job, and I learned a great deal from each group's presentation. I do have constructive criticism, however, for each group, including mines.

My group presented on the topic of group communication. We explain how there are different types of groups. I enjoyed it with my group. Each person in my group spoke well and give details about the topic. Working as a team has taught me that collaboration improves efficiency and productivity and creates an opportunity to learn from others. We were able to develop stronger communication skills. It was beautiful to see that we are a diverse group of people with different cultures and backgrounds, yet we were determined to come up with the best work ethic on the project. to do the best we can and learn from the experience Through the process, I only had regret: we were out of time and were unable to share a video that would have completed our presentation.
The second group discussed intercultural communication. Their presentation taught me communication differs from culture to culture, and such interactions between groups develop relationships among its members. It was interesting to learn about the social background of different ethnicity. Additionally, their group talk about intercultural communication helps to eliminate communication obstacles like language barriers.  I enjoyed group two's performance because their explanations were grounded in facts, and their presentation was well-timed. Regarding criticism about their project, I have none. They were phenomenal.

The third group discussed leadership and problem-solving. They taught me the importance of leaders conducting problem identification, root cause analysis, and developing alternative solutions. The taught me that successful leaders are experienced problem-solvers. When trouble hits, they know from past encounters how to work with the right people and resources to reach a solution. Because this group explained so well of their project, it makes me understand the value of leadership. I now realize how important it is to listen, understand those around me. Again, as in the second group's case, I have no criticism of group three's presentation. It was well put together.

All in all, each group presented superbly. Each presentation bore importance to understanding the fundamentals of communication amongst different groups. The only complaint I had about my overall experience is that our presentation was not timed-well. But apart from that, I think my group did a great job. All the group's presentations were superb, the experience opens my mind to a whole different perspective. If we as a human could have put our differences aside and decide to work together and build a firm relationship, maybe life as we know it could've have been better. I also salute the other groups for their remarkable performances. Our professor Dr. Sherri was very pleased with everyone who participated in the presentations. Overall, I enjoy this class so far because I'm learning how to express myself, not to be shy about asking a question when I do not understand something.
