Group 1 had the responsibility of presenting spinal cord desability and brain desabilities. I found it really impressive how the group managed to collect all the necessary information to make us understand and become aware of how these impairments affect our society and what are the ways that our institutions provide them to achieve integration. Once again this group knew how to use technology to get their message and content more effectively, such as the inclusion of their voices in the slides, they can understand them more clearly. Excellent work .
Special mention to group 2, in which I am a participant, we were in charge of presenting hearing and visual disabilites. This resarch was very special to me because I have felt a special appreciation and admiration for people with disabilities since I was little, even having a childhood friend with hearing disabilities. I think the experience of the last presentation helped us with this one to work more as a team. The interview with one of the people with one of the disabilities, helped to really understand everyone what it means to live with a disability. Despite having some technical difficulties, I believed that the objective was achieved.
Group 3 was in charge of closing this series of presentations exposing learning desabilities, psychological disorders, and invisible disabilites, as the main idea that people need to persuade other in order to make a real differnce in our communities. With the combination of technology and messages that really move you, this group managed to convey their idea. I think that you have to start the team down, and that you can get very good results when we do it .
The integration of people with disabilities means understanding the relationship between the way people function and how they participate in society, as well as ensuring that everyone has the same opportunities to participate in all aspects of life to the best of their abilities and desires. .
